Volunteer

SIAI is looking for help. Please email Louie Helm if you can volunteer. Tasks that are currently available:

  • Reviewing and proofreading SIAI publications.
  • Promoting SIAI sites like singinst.org and lesswrong.com.
  • Contributing content to the SIAI Blog.
  • Creating online videos or other digital content.
  • Volunteering for the 2010 Singularity Summit.
  • Organizing monthly dinner parties to cultivate new supporters.
  • Translating SIAI webpages into other languages, e.g. French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, etc.
  • Contributing to the collaborative rationality blog Less Wrong.
  • Hosting a Less Wrong meetup or reminding organizers to host them.

Lots of opportunities exist beyond those listed, especially for dedicated volunteers or those who have special skills. Contact Louie Helm for more information.
