Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Gifts

Donor advised funds offer you the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support the Singularity Institute at any time. The Singularity Institute is proud to offer donors the opportunity to work with an in-house professional financial advisor to set up your DAF. The Singularity Institute recommends donors establish their DAF through the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, the largest charitable giving vehicle in the U.S., with over 39,000 gift fund donors and more than $6 billion in grants. A donor makes an irrevocable gift to establish their giving account, and receives an immediate tax deduction in the amount of their gift. As the donor, they then tell the Gift Fund which charities should receive gifts, and when. Please contact our development department to learn more.

Real Estate Gifts

You may claim an income-tax charitable deduction based on the full market value of your contribution, or eliminate certain costs associated with the transfer of real property, when you give a gift of your home or real property to the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence. Gifts of real estate can also provide income to you.

In-Kind Donations

The Singularity Institute is always open to in-kind donations. Equipment, especially computer equipment or office furniture, is particularly welcomed. Additional items of interest include items that can be sold or auctioned off as a donation for the Singularity Institute, such as an art piece, car, or antique.
